<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sentence generation program and a sentence generation device for generating a sentence from a character string when a character string to be input does not form a sentence. <P>SOLUTION: A sentence generation device 1 comprises: character string acceptance means 100 for accepting a character string; character string split means 101 for splitting the accepted character string into words; character string extension means 102 for extending the split words by a predetermined method; meaning storage rate estimation means 103 for using meaning storage rate information 111 to estimate a storage rate of the meaning of the extended character string; likelihood estimation means 104 for estimating the likelihood of the extended character string as syntax; extended character string evaluation means 105 for evaluating the validity of the method used by the character string extension means 102 that generated the extended character string based on the meaning storage rate and the likelihood; and sentence candidate output means 106 for outputting the extended character string as a candidate for a sentence generated from the accepted character string, based on the evaluation result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
