<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering platinum group elements, by which Rh and Ru can be efficiently separated and recovered from a solution containing Rh and Ru through their adsorption to an adsorbent so as to be recycled as materials, wherein the solution containing Rh and Ru is produced through a wet treatment of electronic component waste, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The method for recovering the platinum group elements comprises: adding an aqueous hydrochloric acid solution to the solution containing the platinum group elements comprising Rh and/or Ru, thereby adjusting the hydrochloric acid concentration in the solution to ≤0.1 mol/l; subsequently adding and mixing the adsorbent comprising a granular amine-modified insoluble tannin gel to the solution with the adjusted concentration; keeping the solution at ≥30°C so as to induce adsorption of the platinum group elements contained in the solution to the adsorbent; separating the adsorbent adsorbing the platinum group elements from the solution; and incinerating the adsorbent adsorbing the platinum group elements, thereby recovering the platinum group elements. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
