MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR WATER-DISINTEGRABLE PAPER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR WATER-DISINTEGRABLE CLEANING ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for water-disintegrable paper having practically sufficient wet strength and water-disintegrable performance and excellent productivity; and a manufacturing method for a water-disintegrable cleaning article using the water-disintegrable paper obtained by the manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for water-disintegrable paper of this invention comprises a step of adding a polyelectrolyte in which at least one of cationic polyelectrolytes and at least one of anionic polyelectrolytes are added alternately in this order each a plurality of times in a fluid dispersion with a cellulosic fiber dispersed in water and in which cleaning of the cellulosic fiber is not performed after adding each of the polyelectrolytes; and a step of papermaking in which the fluid dispersion after the step of adding a polyelectrolyte is subjected to wet papermaking.
