<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rigid exhaust balloon which generates a buoyancy when air is removed from a rigid balloon on the ground or in the air as if water is removed from a ballast tank in a submarine during diving. <P>SOLUTION: When air is removed from a rigid balloon, the buoyancy is generated, and at the same time, the internal pressure in the balloon is also reduced. However, the larger the volume is, the smaller a differential pressure between the internal and external pressures of the balloon due to the required buoyancy is. The wall thickness and the weight of a regular rigid balloon of a large diameter are increased. Thus, by reducing the radius of curvature of individual shells, the wall thickness of each shell can be reduced.
