<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing silver powder using a fluoride solution as a raw material, and fluoride-containing silver powder used for conductive paste. <P>SOLUTION: An organic matter reducing agent is added to a silver fluoride solution to precipitate the silver powder, the solution and the silver powder are solid-liquid separated, and the silver powder is washed with water, and dried. The obtained silver powder is spherical silver powder whose particle size observed from images captured by SEM is 0.1-10 μm and also has fluorine present on the surface.
