<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for predicting a cut amount in a member, which is capable of surely predicting a cut amount before manufacturing the member. <P>SOLUTION: The method for predicting or calculating a cut amount in the member due to virtual precise stamping comprises: a step a) of displaying points located inside a plane demarcated by a cut profile part and points located outside the plane in mutually different colors; a step b) of performing airbrushing of the cut profile part of the member at least once by a filter which generates different gray level values; a step c) of newly displaying points, which have been displayed, colored and located outside the cut profile part, in a color before coloring; a step d) of processing gray level values for a residual plate thickness in the cut profile part of the member after precise stamping; and a step e) of making the residual plate thickness in the cut profile part correspond to a gray level value to calculate a cut amount on the basis of the gray level value in the cut profile part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
