<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet stacking device capable of stacking folded paper in paper ejection trays provided at a plurality of stages without causing different fold types of folded paper to coexist in the same sheet storage part. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet stacking device includes: the paper ejection trays 251, 252, 253 and 254 provided at the plurality of stages; and a sorting means 220 configured to convey the folded paper received from a paper folding processing device 302 to the selected paper ejection tray. The sorting means 220 has: a movable conveying belt 221; a driving pulley 222 being a driving roller on which the movable conveying belt 221 is tensioned and laid; a driven pulley 223 being a driven roller; and an adjusting pulley 224. The sorting means includes: a driven pulley elevating and lowering means that elevates and lowers the driven pulley 223; and an adjusting pulley elevating and lowering means that elevates and lowers the adjusting pulley 224 for adjusting the tension of the movable conveying belt 221 to a value within a prescribed range. A paper conveying surface of the movable conveying belt 221 is turned by elevating and lowering the driven pulley 223 with a rotary shaft of the driving pulley 222 as a center of turning. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
