<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nap sign detection system which securely detects nap sign using a stimulation signal and a response method not troublesome for the driver, and to provide a nap sign detection method during driving automobile. <P>SOLUTION: The nap sign detection system during driving includes a means to repeatedly transmit a tactile sense stimulation signal, a means to generate vibration corresponding to the tactile sense stimulation signal, a means to detect a response from a driver to the vibration generated by the tactile sense stimulation signal, a means to know a real elapsed time after the transmission of the tactile sense stimulation signal, and a means to determine confirmation of a degree of awakening of the driver on the basis of the real time length of no response from the driver in a period except an exception period under a fixed condition. As a concrete constitution, vibration generating devices 21, 22 are set on a steering wheel 1 and further a sheet type pressure sensors 31, 32, 33, 34 are set on the steering wheel 1 to form the nap sign detecting system during driving an automobile. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
