摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor for developing high responsiveness by suppressing the influence of heat withdrawal from a heat-sensitive element body generated via an insulating support and an insulating porcelain tube. <P>SOLUTION: A temperature sensor 100 includes: a heat-sensitive element body 21; an insulating support 31; an insulating porcelain tube 41; and an external cylinder 11. The heat-sensitive element body 21 includes a thermistor sintered body 22. The insulating support 31 is brought into contact with the rear end side of the heat-sensitive element body 21 for supporting the heat-sensitive element body 21. The insulating porcelain tube 41 is brought into contact with the rear end side of the insulating support 31 such that wiring passes through the inside. The external cylinder 11 is configured to store the heat-sensitive element body 21, the insulating support 31, and the insulating porcelain tube 41. The external cylinder 11 includes a porcelain tube storage part 14 and a top end side storage part 13. The porcelain tube storage part 14 is configured to store the insulating porcelain tube 41. The top end side storage part 13 is positioned at the top end side of the porcelain tube storage part 14, and configured with an outer diameter smaller than that of the porcelain tube storage part 14 for storing at least half of the insulating support 31 from its axial top end.
