This torque rod (1) is formed by connecting two elastic bushes (2, 3) by a connection rod (4), the two elastic bushes (2, 3) being respectively mounted to the vibration generation side and the side to which the vibration is transmitted. An active-control vibration offset means (5) for reciprocating a mass member (5b) around a shaft (5a) extending toward the two elastic bushes (2, 3) is provided within the connection rod (4). The active-control vibration offset means (5) is configured as an actuator provided with: the shaft (5a) having opposite ends attached to the connection rod (4) and extending in the direction of the axis of the connection rod (4); the tube-shaped mass member (5b) surrounding the shaft (5a); coils (5e) and a winding core (5f) which are affixed within the tube-shaped mass member (5b) to the shaft (5a); permanent magnets (5d) attached to the inner peripheral surface of the tube-shaped mass member (5b) or to the shaft (5a); and a connection member (5c) for connecting at least one end of the tube-shaped mass member (5b) to the shaft (5a).
