According to one embodiment, an information processing apparatus includes a virtual hard disk image generation module and a delivery module. The virtual hard disk image generation module generates a master virtual hard disk image, first differential virtual hard disk image and second differential virtual hard disk image. The delivery module delivers a pair of the master virtual hard disk image and the first differential virtual hard disk image to a first client computer, and delivers a pair of the master virtual hard disk image and the second differential virtual hard disk image to a second client computer. The virtual hard disk image generation module further generates a third differential virtual hard disk image for update. The delivery module further delivers the third differential virtual hard disk image to the first client computer. |
