The machine (1) has a brake device (40) i.e. wet running multi-disk brake, radially arranged between a cylinder drum (2) and a housing of the machine. The cylinder drum is provided with external dimension at a region of a section (3b) of a piston opening (3), where the external dimension is reduced against a region of another section (3a) of the piston opening. The brake device is partially arranged within radial extension of the cylinder drum in a region of the cylinder drum with reduced external dimension at a region of the latter section of the piston opening.
