The device has a wall (2) provided with an opening. A cover (3) is formed at the opening. The cover is spaced from the wall so that a slot is formed between the wall and the cover. An elastic sealing element (4) is arranged in the slot. The slot is opened at a pressure gradient vertical to the wall. The slot is closed at another pressure gradient or at no pressure gradient, where the latter pressure gradient is opposite to the former pressure gradient. The circular cover comprises a cylindrical jacket portion supporting the annular sealing element.
