<p>The retractable landing gear has a wheel (1) fixed to a steering knuckle (2) which is guided through a fuselage of an amphibious vehicle. A rotatably mounted pivot axis (4) is firmly connected inside the fuselage. A lockable lever (5) is arranged at the pivot axis inside the fuselage, such that the height of the wheel is adjustable with respect to the fuselage by a movement of the actuating lever. An independent claim is also included for a trailer mounted amphibious vehicle with a telescopic settling skid.</p>
