<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing apparatus that bends a sheet bundle while end sides of sheets of the sheet bundle are aligned. <P>SOLUTION: A finisher (sheet processing apparatus) 500 includes: an intermediate tray 560 that collects sheets P to form a sheet bundle S; a sheet gripping member 802 that grips one end of the sheet bundle S stacked on the intermediate tray 560 and a positioning member 805 that grips the other end of the sheet bundle S; a moving portion that moves the sheet gripping member 802 and the positioning member 805 to come close each other; a pair of folding rollers 810a, 810b that fold the sheet bundle S while conveying the sheet bundle S; a projecting member 830 that projects a part between the one end and the other end of the gripped sheet bundle toward the pair of folding rollers 810a, 810b; and a finisher controller 951 that controls the moving portion so that the sheet gripping member 802 and the positioning member 805 come close each other in synchronization with an operation of projecting the projecting member 830 toward the sheet bundle S. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
