<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the activating action of a physiological function in a physiological function activating device. <P>SOLUTION: In temperature fluctuation operation, both high-temperature holding motion and low-temperature holding motion are alternately performed at least once by once. When the high-temperature holding motion is performed, the target temperature of a room air conditioner (20) is retained at the target temperature on the high-temperature side to give thermal stimulation to a human body. On the other hand, when the low-temperature holding motion is performed, the target temperature of the room air conditioner (20) is retained at the target temperature on the low-temperature side to give low-heat stimulation to the human body.
