In the controller of the electric vehicle, the power Wac capable of being consumed by the air conditioner 162 in the compartment is set at a preset minimum guaranteed-power Wacmin or more and a preset maximum power Wacmax or less when the maximum allowable output Woutmax of the capacitor 122 is a preset air-conditioning stop criterion value Wacoff or more.
