<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of an electric vehicle, capable of simultaneously satisfying both traveling performance of the vehicle and air-conditioning performance demanded by a driver by properly supplying a motor and an air conditioner in a compartment with a power from a capacitor. <P>SOLUTION: The controller of the electric vehicle includes: the motor 144 driving the vehicle by receiving a power supply from the capacitor 122; and the air conditioner 162 in the compartment adjusting the temperature of the inside of the compartment by receiving the power supply from the capacitor 122. In the controller of the electric vehicle, the power Wac capable of being consumed by the air conditioner 162 in the compartment is set at a preset minimum guaranteed-power Wacmin or more and a preset maximum power Wacmax or less when the maximum allowable output Woutmax of the capacitor 122 is a preset air-conditioning stop criterion value Wacoff or more.
