METHOD FOR PRODUCING TITANIUM PRODUCT OR TITANIUM ALLOY PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a molded product using powder in which titanium or a titanium alloy is hydrogenated, as a raw material for molding.

SOLUTION: The method for producing a titanium product or a titanium alloy product includes steps of: filling an iron-based capsule or a capsule made of titanium or a titanium alloy with titanium powder or titanium alloy powder so that the capsule is filled at a filling factor of 90% or less; decompressing the inside of the capsule to 0.133 Pa or less at 300-850°C; cooling the capsule to 100°C or less at a rate of 20°C/min or less; sealing the capsule, heating the capsule to 800°C or more at a heating rate of 1-50°C/min and then holding it for a predetermined time; and then pressurizing the capsule to solidify and mold the titanium powder or the titanium alloy powder.
