<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator in which the maintenance of a capacitor is facilitated. <P>SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes: a mechanical chamber in which the capacitor 58 in a refrigeration cycle of the refrigerator is arranged; a front wall in the mechanical chamber which partitions the interior of the refrigerator and the mechanical chamber into front and rear parts; a partitioning part which is disposed in the mechanical chamber and is located on the rear side of the capacitor 58; and a fan 56 which is disposed on the mechanical chamber and is located on the rear side of the partitioning part, wherein the fan 56 and the partitioning part are attachable and detachable.
