<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file history information management server and the like that is used for managing history information of operations executed to a file, allows a user to easily access a history information, is effective for data backup, and is robust against limitation of a usage environment. <P>SOLUTION: When a user operating a terminal device executes an print instruction for printing a file stored in a file server where history information is recorded, the server allocates a new storage area such as URL to the print instruction, and writes/stores history information covering up to the print instruction in the allocated storage area. Further, the file saver issues a two-dimensional code to identify the allocated URL and transmit it to the user terminal. By incorporating the two-dimensional code in a document to be printed at a user terminal, the user can directly access to the history information covering up to the printing only by reading the two-dimensional code on the document printed by the printer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
