<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an erroneous operation by easily identifying functions of respective switches of an operation unit of an endoscope. <P>SOLUTION: This endoscope system includes: an endoscope comprising the operation unit having a plurality of switches for performing the functions of the endoscope system, and a light emission control means capable of controlling the respective switches of the operation unit to emit light in a plurality of types of colors; and a video processor comprising an operation panel having a plurality of switches for performing the functions of the endoscope system, and a light emission control means capable of controlling the respective switches of the operation panel to emit light in a plurality of types of colors. The light emission control means of the endoscope or the light emission control means of the video processor assigns different luminescent colors to the respective functions of the endoscope system and assigns the same luminescent color to a switch of the operation unit and a switch of the operation panel for performing the same function. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
