<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection method which ensures inexpensive and reliable connection between a fiber conductor and a terminal metal, and to provide a wire with a terminal which is equipped with a fiber conductor and a terminal metal connected using that connection method. <P>SOLUTION: A fiber conductor 21 is bent to make a ring. A wire connection portion 31 of a terminal fitting 3 is then inserted into the ring formed by the fiber conductor 21. At the same time, a part of the ring is laid on the wire connection 31 of the terminal fitting 3. Subsequently, one end of the fiber conductor 21 is wound several turns around the wire connection 31 of the terminal fitting 3 and the part of the ring laid on the wire connection 31. In other words, the one end of the fiber conductor 21 is passed through the ring several times while being wound. Thereafter, the one end of the fiber conductor 21 is pulled to make the ring become small so that the fiber conductor 21 is connected to the terminal fitting 3, that is, the fiber conductor 21 is connected to the terminal fitting 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
