<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having a novel structure with high strength. <P>SOLUTION: A retainer 300 used for a connector comprises: a body part 310; a substantially plate-shaped retainer fitting part 320 which protrudes forward from the body part 310; a pair of arm parts 330 which extend forward from the body part 310; and a coupling part 340 which couples between the arm parts 330 in the Y-direction. With this configuration, a structure having high resistance against the deformation of the arm parts 330 can be obtained even if the arm parts 330 are made thinner. Consequently, a configuration in which the retainer fitting part 320 does not overlap the arm parts 330 or the coupling part 340 when viewed along the Z-direction, that is, a configuration suitable for insert molding as well, can be obtained while maintaining the strength of the retainer 300. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
