<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporation rate estimation method with which an evaporation rate of water in a water area can be easily and accurately estimated, an evaporation rate estimation system, an evaporation rate estimation program and a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: An amount of change dδ<SP POS="POST">18</SP>O/evaporation rate with respect to an evaporation rate of an oxygen isotope ratio dδ<SP POS="POST">18</SP>O of water in an estimation target water area and an average humidity H during an evaporation term are acquired as a plurality of measurements on an XY plane coordinate with the average humidity as an X axis and the oxygen isotope ratio dδ<SP POS="POST">18</SP>O as a Y axis, a relational expression (dδ<SP POS="POST">18</SP>O/evaporation rate)/(average humidity) representing a correlation of each measurement is determined from the plurality of measurements, and the evaporation rate in the estimation target water area is calculated from the relational expression. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
