<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel technology for preventing formation of mold in a towel hanger and a closet. <P>SOLUTION: An object hanging device has such a mechanism that an antibacterial component is emitted from an object hanging member for hanging an object. Examples of the object hanging devices include a towel hanger and a cloth hanger provided anywhere the water is used such as a washroom, bathroom, lavatory, and kitchen or a hanger pipe provided in a clothes storage such as a closet. Thus, by constructing the object hanging device in such a structure that an antibacterial component is emitted from the object hanging member, towels, clothes etc. can be kept away from mold without using an antibacterial lamp.
