<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillow packaging apparatus that speedily achieves attractive packaging without making settings again at each time according to the size of an object to be packaged nor wasting a film. <P>SOLUTION: The lateral pillow packaging apparatus A includes a packaging apparatus body A1 including a center seal part 1 performing center sealing and a top seal part 2 arranged on the downstream side thereof and performing top sealing; and a supply conveyor A2 arranged on the upstream side of the packaging apparatus body and supplying the object to be packaged to the packaging apparatus body in adequate timing. Further, the pillow packaging device A has a product detection sensor 3 arranged on the upstream side of the center seal part 1, and measuring the length of the object to be packaged; and a control device computing operation patterns of sealing means 2a and 2b of the top seal part on the basis of the length of the object to be packaged which is calculated on the basis of data detected by the product detection sensor 3, and controls the operation of the sealing means on the basis of the computed operation patterns. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
