<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor capable of exerting higher oil separation capacity. <P>SOLUTION: A vane compressor includes a rear housing 2 in which a discharge chamber 16 is formed and an outflow port 2a for connecting the discharge chamber 16 to an external refrigerating circuit is opened at the upper side thereof. In the rear housing 2, a compression mechanism is provided for compressing refrigerant gas containing lubrication oil in a compression chamber 12 and discharging it to the discharge chamber 16. In the discharge chamber 16, an oil separation mechanism is provided for separating lubrication oil from the refrigerant gas to flow out it from the outflow port 2a. The oil separation mechanism has a centrifugal separation separator 50 and an exhaust port 50a for exhausting the whole refrigerant gas passing thorough the centrifugal separation separator 50 toward the outflow port 2a. The exhaust port 50a is horizontally opened in the discharge chamber 16 while being faced to a vertical surface 5s in the discharge chamber 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
