<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further enhance a sterilizing effect by constituting an air cleaner to reduce blowing resistance in a blast casing even if thinning an ozone-generating UV box to reduce the whole cleaner height. <P>SOLUTION: The air cleaner is adapted to suck air to be cleaned by a blower from a suction port provided in one side face of a casing and to sterilize a part of sucked air by a sterilizing unit provided in the air-blowing casing on the blow-out side of the blower, to blow-out the sterilized air from the top plate of the casing. The air-blowing casing includes a vertical passage, a horizontal passage continuous with the vertical passage, and a blow-out passage communicating with a blow-out port from the horizontal passage. The sterilizing unit is disposed at a corner part bent from the vertical passage to the horizontal passage. The sterilizing unit is formed of the flat ozone-generating UV box of substantially quadrangular shape having an air lead-in port on one end side, an air blow-out window on the other end side and an ozone generating unit inside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
