<p>[Problem to be solved] To provide a tilt device which controls the relative angular portion between a tool and a workpiece by rotating a tilt table by a direct drive motor and which rotates the tilt table at a high speed by the direct drive motor in a predetermined period of time in the course of a machining in order to shake chips from the workpiece. [Measures for Solution] In the course of a machining of a workpiece W with a tool T, a drive spindle 12 is rotated by a direct drive motor 25 to control the relative angular position between the tool T and the workpiece W, and within a predetermined period of time in the course of a machining, the direct drive motor 25 is rotated at a high speed with a spindle head 4 and a work table 11 kept away to rotate the drive spindle 12 and hence, a tile table 17 at a high speed and to shake chips from the workpiece.</p> |
