The lift system (13) which moves the parts (5, 7) in and out at the bottom of the storage containers (12) engage through the conveyor (2) which is mounted underneath the containers linking them together. The rhythmic advance of the conveyor is produced by a pawl (8) engaging in one side (9) of the conveyor and rotating in an element (7) which moves to and fro. The translatory movement of the element is restricted by a switchable stop (10) on one or other side of the pawl (8) according to the conveyor direction. ADVANTAGE - The parts are always handled in the same position so that no expensive detector systems are necessary.
