PROCEDURE AND SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATIC EVALUATION OF VIDEO QUALITY USING MULTI-MODELS

Invention herewith described refers to the procedure and system for automatic evaluation of video material based on the perceptual approach with the application of the multi-models. Each model from the multi-model is constructed and optimized over the appropriate cluster of samples of calculated objective characteristics of video frames in the formed space of objective characteristics. In addition to the independent partial models of quality evaluation defined over the specific clusters in space of characteristics, the invention also refers to the inclusion in the multi-model of the integral model of quality constructed by using the entire set of samples in the space of characteristics. The final evaluation of video quality is the weighted sum of evaluations of individual models that form the multi-model. The influence of the individual model determines the affiliation of the vectors of video frame characteristics using the corresponding space clusters of the objective characteristics.
