#CMT# #/CMT# The cleaning process cleans water (H) polluted with sulfate and heavy-metal ions, collecting it in a reservoir (W). An active substance is added, which will eventually cause a precipitate (F) containing the polluting ions to settle out. Some of the water from the reservoir is divided into clean water (R) and ion-rich polluted water (S). Some of the latter is sent back to the reservoir, producing a concentration at which the precipitate containing the polluting ions settles out. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# for water polluted with sulfate and heavy metal ions. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# Cheaper, less technically demanding. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a natural sink fitted with a device for the implementation of the process. F : Precipitate H : Initial water r : Clean water S : Ion-rich polluted water W : Reservoir.
|
