<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording/reproducing device with a cursor capable of optionally selecting a plurality of objects including an object such as a desired thumbnail image from a list display screen with the first simple operation without increasing the number of keys and operation procedures, and to provide a program therefor. <P>SOLUTION: In the recording/reproducing device, an image area composed of a plurality of image frames associated with an object on an object section screen is set as a specified range of a variable power cursor.
