<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistor in which a resistance value can be adjusted and the strength of a resistor body is high. <P>SOLUTION: In order to achieve the purpose, this resistor is provided with the resistor body 11 made of a metal plate; a pair of electrodes 12 provided on both ends of this resistor body 11, wherein at least one through hole 13 is formed on the resistor body 11 to prevent contact with peripheral portions 11a of the resistor body 11.
