PURPOSE: A light emitting diode structure and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve luminous efficiency of an LED structure by arranging two conductive electrodes on a transparent insulation layer. CONSTITUTION: A first conductive semiconductor layer(204) is arranged on a substrate. An epitaxial structure includes a second conductive semiconductor layer. The first conductive contact layer is arranged on a second part of the first conductive semiconductor layer. A transparent insulation layer(218) covers a light emitting epitaxial structure, the first conductive contact layer, and a second conductive contact layer and has a surface. A first reflection layer partially covers the surface of the transparent insulation layer and a first contact hole. A first conductive electrode(234) is arranged on a first reflection layer and is filled in the first contact hole. A second conductive electrode is arranged on a second reflection layer and includes a second conductive electrode filled in a second contact hole.
