Controlling blowing process in a converter comprises controlling the time course of the blow by determining the temperature and carbon content of the metal bath as well as by exhaust gas analysis, where the temperature control and estimation of the temperature of the metal bath of the exhaust gas temperatures measured continuously by a T-sub-model before the waste gas de-dusting are combined with the acyclic determined actual metal bath temperature to a projected metal bath temperature.
