The computer-implemented method involves receiving a query with a search term. A measure is determined for the search term. The probability of the occurrence of the term, is determined, where a quantifier distribution is applied on the terms of the sub-set, depending on the term. A modified probability is determined for the term from the quantified probability of the terms of the sub-set. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product with a program code; and (2) a search engine with a receiving unit for receiving a search query. |
