PURPOSE: A random playing method of a vehicle media device is provided to reduce the dependence on parts by the self-implementation of a random playing function. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle media device assigns bits as many as the total number of media files(S100). When an assigned total bit value is a fixed value, the device initializes the total bit value(S110,S150). When the assigned total bit value is not a fixed value, the device generates a random number corresponding to the file number(S120). When the bit value is a fixed value, the device generates the file of the number corresponding to the random number(S130,S140).
