The invention relates to a method for making a pod containing a substance to be infused for preparing a beverage, characterised in that the method comprises mixing or covering at least a portion of the substance to be infused with a structuring component at a first temperature higher than the melting point thereof, and bringing the mixture thus obtained to a second temperature lower than the melting point of the structuring component ensuring the cohesion of the pod. The pod thus obtained is advantageous in that it does not require any overpackaging.
