<p>The equipment consists of a flexible tube (1) covered with mesh (2) forming the skeleton for creating biomass (4), which is characterised by the thickness of up to 5.0 mm of the appressed polyculture. On the surface of the mesh (2) nitrification bacteria are accumulated and inside the bio-membrane (4) there is denitrifying and its growth results in the separation of flakes (5) which simplifies the separating process in the sedimentation tank.<IMAGE></p> |
