<p>A pre-fabricated facade thermal insulation panel comprises: a first layer (1), in particular a plate, of solid facade exterior trim material; a second layer (2) of heat insulating material, e.g. polystyrene, which is fixed, in particular glued, to the inner surface of the first layer (1); and a third layer (3) of soft and non-combustible heat insulating material, e.g. mineral wool, as pressure smoothing and air void sealing layer, which is fixed, in particular glued, to the inner surface of the second layer (2). When fixing such panels to a facade, each panel is mounted so that its first layer (I) overlaps the panel mounted below, and possibly also the side mounted panel.</p> |
