<p>The method involves transmitting a request from a communication terminal (T) to an information providing application (AS) for obtaining information accessible to given date. A response message is transmitted from the application to the terminal, where the message has information required to access the given date defined with respect to a reference clock (HR). The time information in the request, representing substitution date, is added to a field by the terminal. The required information accessible to the given date defined with respect to the substitution date, is integrated to the message. The request and the information are of Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) type. The communication terminal is a portable or fixed computer. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for testing a function of an information providing application that provides information accessible to dates defined with respect to a reference clock providing a record date (2) communication terminal comprising a interrogating unit (3) a content server for storing information.</p> |
