FABRIC WITH HIGHLY EXPANDED LAYER AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF

[The problem] This invention provides a fabric having a foamed layer. The fabric is obtained by the foaming method which prevents to expand heat expansible micro capsules in a cross-linked resin. [The means] A foamed layer is laminated on the fabric material. The foamed layer is comprising of heat expanded micro capsules, a synthetic resin holding the capsules on the fabric material, silica fine powders which are hydrophilic and fine porous. The fabric is obtained by the following method. A synthetic resin solution comprising of heat expansible micro capsules and the silica fine powders is prepared. The solution is applied on the fabric material at all surface or pattered surface. The synthetic resin layer is formed after drying. After that, the heat expansible micro capsules are expanded by heating.
