PURPOSE: A display device and a power supplying method thereof are provided to reduce electrical energy consumption of a power supply unit by supplying power supply voltage of a panel through a direct driving integrated circuit instead of the power supply unit. CONSTITUTION: A panel(100) acts in a normal mode or a low power display mode. A power supply unit(300) outputs first high voltage and first low voltage to the panel. The power supply unit creates first supply voltage based on panel power supply voltage. A direct driving integrated circuit(400) selects one among a plurality of input voltages according to a display mode. The direct driving integrated circuit creates second supply voltage based on the panel power supply voltage and logic voltage. The direct driving integrated circuit outputs second high voltage and second low voltage created based on input voltage to the panel.
