PURPOSE: A cleaner is provided to minimize the moving route of a main body because the main body moves toward a user within a reference distance range. CONSTITUTION: A cleaner(100) comprises a main body(1), a drive unit(2), a suction assembly(3), a rotary connection pipe(7), a distance detection unit(4), a direction detection unit, and a control unit. The drive unit moves the main body. The suction assembly comprises a suction nozzle which is installed separate from the main body and a handle(33) which is operated by a user to actuate the suction nozzle. The rotary connection pipe connects the suction nozzle to the main body. The distance detection unit senses the distance between the main body and the suction assembly. The direction detection unit senses the rotating direction of the rotary connection pipe. The control unit controls the drive unit so that the main body is directed toward the suction assembly and the distance falls within a preset reference distance range. |
