The present invention relates to novel fire-resistant bituminous compositions including at least one bitumen, at least one phosphoric acid salt, at least one polysaccharide, the amount of phosphoric acid salt and polysaccharide being between 1 and 20 wt % relative to the weight of the bituminous composition, the ratio between the amounts of phosphoric acid salt and of polysaccharide being between 0.2 and 2 wt %, said bituminous composition being free of organic halogen compounds.
