METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR IMPLEMENTING COORDINATED MULTIPLE POINT TRANSMISSION

PURPOSE: A coordinated multiple point transmission method and an apparatus thereof are provided to acquire CRS(Common Reference Symbol) and CSI-RS(Channel State Information Reference Symbol) mapping positions of an original mapping pattern of range setting group cells, thereby updating cell mapping patterns for transmitting data to a terminal. CONSTITUTION: A network side arranges a range setting group with respect to a terminal(101). Original mapping patterns with respect to various cells in the group are acquired. Channel information of the various cells belonged to the group which is returned by the terminal is received(102). The network side presently selects cells for in fact transmitting signal with the terminal(103) The network side determines updated mapping patterns with respect to the cells selected among a group which performs a CoMP(Coordinated Multiple Point transmission) JP(Joint Processing) process. The selected cells transmit a physical downlink shared channel to the terminal according to the updated mapping pattern.
