PURPOSE: A portable terminal based on visible light communication is provided to form a social network service and to utilize the location information of the portable terminal by sharing a local network. CONSTITUTION: A light reception unit(110) receives visible ray. A communication unit(120) performs communication by using the visible ray received by the light reception unit. A control unit(150) transmits and receives information with one or more other terminals through the communication unit. The control unit controls a portable terminal(100) in order to form a network with the other terminal.
