<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible capture a favorable fundus image by facilitating the alignment even for an examiner being unused to the operation. <P>SOLUTION: This fundus camera having a capturing section disposed with a capturing optical system for capturing the image of a fundus is provided with an anterior ocular segment observation optical system having a first image pickup device for capturing the image of the anterior ocular segment, a fundus observation optical system having a second image pickup device for capturing image of the fundus, a display means capable of switchingly displaying the anterior ocular segment image and the fundus image, an alignment control means detecting a displacement of the alignment of the capturing section from an eye, determining whether it is within a prescribed alignment tolerance or not and, when being outside the tolerance, executing the alignment operation, and a fixation target presentation means capable of changing the presentation position of a fixation target for guiding the visual axis of the eye; widely sets the tolerance in the fundus display state relative to the tolerance in the anterior ocular segment image display state by the display means; and sets the tolerance in the fundus display state based on the presentation position of the fixation target by the fixation target means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
