<p>An x-ray tube having an anode including a coolant duct through which coolant can be passed to cool the anode. A coolant circuit is provided through which the coolant is supplied to and returned from the anode. The x-ray tube is provided in a housing and has a feedthrough extending through the housing. The feedthrough comprises an electrical connection for connecting an electrical supply to the anode and a coolant passage arranged to form part of the cooling circuit.</p> |
